Stronger Smarter Summit

Towards the end of September I had the pleasure of being invited to perform for a Gala dinner event at the Strong Smarter Summit for Indigenous Education. The event was hosted by the team at the institute and Dr. Chris Sarra – one of Australia’s leading theorists on Indigenous Education and Welfare – along with other dignitaries including the Deputy Prime Minister, Tom Calmer and Jeff McMullen. The event was also a real celebration of real solutions to change the tide of low expectations in schools populated by Indigenous Students. I was really lucky work along side Dr. Sarra once upon a time and to come together to see 450 odd people share their stories and celebrate was such a real gift.
