**NEW YORK, NEW YORK**
20 May, 2010G’day Bloggers
This week we saw the long and short of New York – all the glitz, glamour, spectacle, varying degrees of culture along with a guest performance at Spike Hill Brooklyn. This is my first trip to the states and I can really see why it’s the land of opportunity and can definitely recommend New York as a must see for any musician, artist or tourist – New York beats an incredible heart. Walking through Greenwich Village I found a great record store with some classic vinyl, even scoring a classic 70’s Glen Campbell 12″ with a giant signed poster. This one is going strait to the pool room! For art, fashion, culture, live music, fantastic food and great atmosphere I can recommend Greenwich, Meat Packing district, Soho, Chelsea & Noho. These places remind me of home. Below is some gig footage from the trip – please visit and add me on facebook & myspace for more images of the trip. I hope you enjoy and I look forward to seeing all of you in the coming months touring the new album Children of the Sunrise across Australia (check gigs for more info).
